About Me

I hail from the beautiful Rocky Mountain town of Cranbrook, B.C., where I had the privilege of growing up on the unceded territory of the Ktunaxa Nation.

I have completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I am registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and an ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider (ADHD-CCSP). Additionally, I am currently completing my Doctor of Clinical Psychology degree.

I have been wonderfully fortunate to work as a therapist with children, youth, adults, families, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, immigrants and refugees, military, and first responders regarding family relationships, parenting, neurodivergence, men’s and women’s issues, grief and loss, trauma, addictions, and crisis management throughout greater Victoria, BC.

I am a proud member of a military family and understand the unique challenges that can come from navigating the military lifestyle. I am also a proud citizen of Metis Nation BC and understand the nuances of exploring and evolving one's cultural identity through a lens of privilege and honouring one's ancestral and cultural heritage and practices.

I have a deep connection with the Rocky Mountains and have developed a love for the beauty and lifestyle of the West Coast. Thus, in my free time, I love visiting home to see friends and family throughout the changing seasons, adventuring through Vancouver Island’s beautiful naturescapes, snuggling with my 2 cats, and planning my next travel adventure. â€‹â€‹â€‹

Land Acknowledgment

I am committed to acknowledging, upholding, and respecting the homelands and stewardship of the lÉ™k̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples, today known as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations, and the T’Sou-ke, and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples; since time immemorial, their presence, leadership, and resiliency resonates throughout the fabric of this land. It is with continued intention, gratitude, and humility that we work toward building our relationship.
