My Practice

Curiosity, kindness, and humour are a few of my core values that have guided my journey both in my personal life and within the helping field. I believe we hold an innate wisdom designed towards healing, with our life experiences providing opportunities for deeper learning and evolution of the self. This provides each person with an innate capacity to engage the part of themselves that has been hidden for self-preservation and necessary daily functioning. I also believe that life transitions are pathways toward healing, allowing us to turn struggles into opportunities for learning, growth, and thriving.

Utilizing a curious and mindful approach, I meet people wherever they may be on their journey, and together we gently explore areas of wounding and struggle, while guiding them safely through difficult experiences towards healing and growth. This process invites you to learn, heal, and grow at a pace that feels safe, thereby enhancing your inherent resilience and aligning with your most authentic self.
Specializations

Anxiety
Anxiety is pervasive and can impact all aspects of life. Understanding the building blocks of anxiety, how it shows up for you, and supporting you in developing the tools and strategies to manage your anxiety will lead you toward enhanced feelings of empowerment and living the life you want.
Depression
Mood disorders can negatively impact your life and can feel like you are forever stuck in a pervasive loop or autopilot. Exploring how your thoughts and body are connected, how they respond to your environment, and developing tools to regulate your mood can have a significant improvement in low mood and life satisfaction.
Emotional Regulation
Difficult and overwhelming emotions can feel all consuming and never-ending. Understanding the purpose of emotions, how they show-up for you, and developing tools and strategies to decrease their intensity and increase your mastery of emotional regulation will lead you to feel empowered in your decisions and responses.
Grief and Loss
The experience of grief and loss can go hand-in-hand with one of life's constants, change. Thus, we all develop a long-standing relationship with aspects of grief and loss that can feel overwhelming, all-consuming, and unbearable. Together we can sit, explore, and mindfully lean into your journey with grief and loss to create space, find meaning, and learn how to honour your experience for enhanced resilience and personal growth.
Trauma
Trauma is unique to each person and how it can impact your daily life and relationships. With gentle and mindful consideration, together, we will explore areas of wounding and adaptive functioning and guide you back to self stability and expanded resilience.
Neurodivergence
Navigating daily life for a neurodivergent person living in a neurotypical world can feel overwhelming and inhibiting of one's authentic self. Learning how your unique mind and system interact with your environment is helpful to validate your daily experience, address overwhelming emotions, and create a 'toolbox' that best supports your needs and creates the most supportive environment for your most authentic wellbeing.
